TONIGHT is the second installment of The Songwriter Series, and my featured artist is my friend Ben McPeak. He’s driving all the way from Corpus Christi to be with us here in the LBK. One of the things I’m striving for with this specially curated series is bringing you artists that you wouldn’t usually get to see in our town.
Jerrod Medulla was AMAZING at the kick-off party last month, and we had an absolute blast. The show was only supposed to last a couple of hours, and we ended up closing the bar down. I seriously lost time and couldn’t believe it. Let’s show Ben the same kind of love tonight!

I remember when Bodine’s Cocktail Parlor first opened, I showed my love every day of the opening week. I told Matthew Layton not to tell anyone, haha, but he did – so I guess the secret’s out of the bag now. Come see why it’s my favorite.
